I hope you’re doing well and you all had an amazing festive period with your loved ones! What have you done?!
I’m writing to you from Edinburgh 🙂 –my Home Sweet Home! Unfortunately, I have to go back to Paris tomorrow morning; an early flight in the morning on a 1st January was definitely not the best idea I had! Haha! But I’m still here for one more night –the song is here if you want! haha, clearly you can only wish for me a big change in my music taste for 2017!– so let’s make the most of it!
I’ve spent 5 amazing days in Edinburgh during these Christmas holidays!
Thanks to my perfect other half, I had the chance to finally see the musical Mamma Mia !!!! OMG for those who hasn’t seen it and that are big fan of the movie, I have only one thing to tell you: GET TICKETS AND GO TO THE SHOW !!!!!!!!! (you can find here the list of the venues where you can see it)
I’ve also had the chance to relax and enjoy a spa day at the Marine hotel in North Berwick: exactly what I needed to start fresh this new year!
And of course I’ve enjoyed some quality times with all my loved ones in Edinburgh!
But hey, enough talking about me, that’s not why I’m writing to you today 🙂 Today I want to share with you the magical and Christmas spirit that reigns in Edinburgh at this time of the year; especially with its Christmas market! The color, the smells, the music, the various stands and the atmosphere make you go back to your childhood! I love it 🙂 And what’s great is the fact that the Christmas Market is opened until the 31st December; unlike in France where most of the markets are closing once Christmas is over!
I don’t know guys if you’re big Christmas lovers but even if you’re not, Edinburgh will surprise you! This year, I haven’t seen Christmas coming! 2016 went so fast Christmas just arrived like a hair on the soup –that’s a French expression! I’m actually not sure of the meaning in english :)! However, as soon arrived in Edinburgh, I knew Christmas was all around!
Enough talking, you’re gonna be tired of reading all these words 😉
I’ll let you enjoy the pix and I hope it will give you the desire to discover Edinburgh at Christmas time next year!
Truthfully Yours, xx
